The Cause (RUST BUG)

We have very good news, players! We have found the cause of the low performance on our server and we aren’t the only ones having this issue! Here is the video of the discovery. Big thanks to Flaymar of AusNZGaming for helping us figure this out. Long story short, building onto huge structures causes severe performance drops that can be felt by everyone on the server.

The Solution

We have added a anti-build spam plugin on the server to help reduce this issue. Player will now have to wait 0.4 seconds until they can place a new building block. We may adjust this accordingly, depending on how server performance holds up over the week.

DonationHub Changes

We’re aiming for next week to push the new DonationHub and package changes. Bear with us while we code some new plugins and update the website donation interface; we’re sure you guys are going to love what we have in store!
