What’s been going on?

It’s been an absolutely crazy last few weeks.. between the holidays, severe DDoS attacks, and a corrupted save, we would like to sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that our players have felt. To remedy this, we altered the last part of this wipe a bit – we handed out a kit and upped the gather rate to x4 to make it up to you guys. Please don’t worry though, it is not staying this way! We have always had the vision of an accelerated, but not-heavily-modded server, and will keep it that way!

NEW HOST:
The most important news is that we are switching hosts! This means a few things. First off, DeadLaugh is staying the same. We will be doing more events and start up regular giveaways, and return to being more quick to post updates and news, as we work on stability. We will be changing IPs (so you might need to re-add us to your server favorites), and because of this, your ping might be different. However, performance should be better, and we should have far better DDoS mitigation than before! The new host is in New York, rather than in Texas.

CHANGES:
– The launch of our official Donation Hub!
– Implementation of award tags – visible in game using /awards and /awards all
– An addition to our current demolish tool, that gives players the ability to share the function with friends using /demolish [name]

TODAY:
We will be wiping near 2pm, when the forced update hits. Garry announced a surprise Blueprint wipe, so this one is on him, not us! Hopefully everything will be back to normal this week.

See you all later!
